The Lodi Complex (located west of Lodi, CA) was a major switched junction point for the Northern California long distance system in addition to being a very large AT&T facility. The Lodi Complex was a junction point not only for multiple microwave radio links, Lodi was also a junction point for multiple L-3 cables running from Stockton to Sacramento.
The complex today services as junction point for fiber optic cables from Stockton, Sacramento and Gilroy.
Status: Active
The tower, parking lots, and equipment and support buildings are still intact. The tower is home to other antennas, and the parking lot serves as the place where AT&T service trucks are parked. The equipment and support buildings appear to be maintained and used for other purposes now (like fiber optic switching), but the site is still considered to be active.
