Thankfully, despite the old network being complete eliminated (minus a few possible locations were old equipment may exist), we do have an excellent source of what the old network sounded like. Thanks to the Phone Phreaks of the time, like Evan Doorbell, we can take a listen to what the old telephone network sounded like.
